The Rules of 4Players League are always kept up to date and complete. Please inform yourself as well in the corresponding „Info & Details“ and News of the respective Leagues, Ladders and Tournaments, to be informed about possible short-termed changes and exceptions. 1. General
The following Rules apply for the Fifa 12 Leagues, Ladders and Tournaments in the 4Players League.

In exceptional cases the Administrators are authorized to make decisions which are not according to the following Rules. These exceptions are needed to abide the sportsmanship and to guarantee fair play for all participants.

Each Participant is urged to use the latest version of the Game, if not announced otherwise in the Rules. The latest version always can be found at the official homepage.

1.1 Challenges
1.1.1 Laddersystem
In the 4Players League each Participant is allowed to challenge everyone, unattached of the Challenger´s Placement. Two Participants are allowed to play one encounter in a period of seven days in the same Ladder. A renewed challenge between the two Participants will be prevented by the 4PL Ladder-System.

1.1.2 Session-System
The 4PL Session-System permits a maximum of five open Challenges. To challenge other Participants or to be challenged, the open sessions have to be played or closed.

1.1.3 Compulsory Challenges
Every time a Participant is challenged and the Opponent ranks 20 positions ahead or behind the Participant´s placement, the match is a compulsory Challenge which has to be played. If compulsory challenges are declined or ignored, the concerned Player will receive Penalty Points.

1.2 Player Accounts
In order to participate in a 4PL league, ladder or tournament, the following criterias have to be met:

  • registered Gameaccount i.e.: "PSN-ID"

Incorrect or incomplete entries can cause a exclusion from the tournament, ladder or league.

  • Verification if required for an offered league, ladder, or tournament

If a verification level is set, only participants with the appropriate verification level are eligible to play.

A player is only allowed to participate in one team.

The nationality does not matter, but a participant must have an (EU West) League of Legends account.

1.2.1 Multiaccounts
It is prohibited to own or use more than one 4Players Liga – Account. If the league Account isn´t accessible or not usable for any reason, it must be written an e-mail to support@4pl.de. Multiple accounts and the intentional indication of false account information will result in penalty points and possibly in a limited or unlimited account barrage.

1.2.2 Gameaccounts
Each participant is allowed to use only one game account for each game in the 4Players Liga. If the player intends to register a new game account for any reason, he has to open a support ticket in the area of the affected game. According to this ticket, the game account will be changed or registered by a responsible admin.

After this change, the previously registered account in this game is barred for any further use in the 4PL. If a player participates with an illegal game account, the action will be sanctioned with penalty points. Changed accounts cannot be restored.


1.3 Clan- and Team-Accounts
In order to participate with a team in the qualifying tournaments the following conditions have to be fulfilled:

  • a team name has to be indicated
  • a team short code has to be indicated
  • the team account needs a registered logo/ emblem
  • enough eligible players who are registered and have a valid game account

It is not allowed to use legally prohibited or protected names, logos or emblems. Additionally we will protect names of large und well-known scene clans and rename relevant accounts, if the account is not in the acquired property of the known clan or organisation.

If evidences show a new team-account is registered by a barred Team and is used to participate in the same League, the new team will get all penalty points and Barrages plus a additional penalty on the new Accoount.

In Leagues, Ladders and Tournaments with specific verification requirements only participants of a team with appropriate verification status are allowed to play.

The team name can be changed at any time, expect running tournaments. Deceiving or bullying other players, clans, teams and administrators with offensive names is strictly prohibited and will result in penalty points, barrages and an exclusion from the tournament, ladder or league.

If two teams decide to play in the future under a common team name, they can decide themselves under which name they like to continue and which team-account will be used. A merge of two Teams has to be requested per support ticket.

1.3.1 Exchange of a player
All participants are allowed to change the team and join a new one at every time, if not prohibited by special league or ladder rules. The changing participant receives a 5-day suspension for all leagues, ladders and tournaments in which his previous team was enrolled.

The participant is only eligible to play when he joins the team before a match. But it is possible to make an agreement with the opponent team. See section "arrangements" of the 4PL Rules.

It's also forbidden that a player join a team after Start of the Tournament and play Games.

1.3.2 Clanexchange of a Team
A team account belongs to the person (team-owner) who has registered the account.

Examples:
Player A, member of Clan "1" founds Team "X" and invites other players to join. If these players leave or if Team "X" leaves Clan "1" the team-account will always belong to Player A. Reached points and positions will remain.

Player B joins with his by himself founded Team Y a Clan. If he decides to change the clan after a while, the team is stilll in his property and claims all won Points an League-/Ladder-Positions.

1.4 Joining a Ladder
Regardless of the point in time, every Player has the opportunity to join a ladder, if the conditions for accession to the relevant League, Ladder, or tournament are met.

1.4.1 Inactivity in a Ladder
There are four different levels of inactivity:

  • Level 1 (21 days absent) If a participant is enrolled 21 days in a ladder with no played match, the account will be marked with a symbol.
  • Level 2 (28 days absent) If a participant is enrolled 28 days in a ladder with no played match, the account will be marked with a symbol and the participant will receive a corresponding Message via PM.

  • Level 3 (42 days absent) If a participant is enrolled 42 days in a ladder with no played match, the account will be marked with a symbol and the participant will receive a corresponding Message via PM. In addition the ladder points are reduced daily with a maximum of 15 ladder points, if no match is played.

  • Level 4 (222 days absent), if a participant is enrolled 222 days in a ladder with no played match, he will be kicked out of the ladder the ladder points and the final ladder position will be deleted.

1.4.2 Leaving a Ladder
If a participant or a team leaves a ladder, a re-enter of the ladder is allowed after five days. The accumulated points and ladder positions are directly deleted by the leave.

1.5 Non-appearance of the Opponent
1.5.1 in case of manual Challenges and in Tournaments
If an opponent does not appear to a fixed date it has to be reported after a waiting time of 10 minutes. To report, make a screenshot of the match-lobby system. It is important to ensure that the screenshot includes the clock on the 4PL website, which is located in the upper right of the page. If the session has been started, both opponents got 10 minutes to join the server. The match can be reported if one the opponents are not ready after 10 minutes. The screenshot can be created up to 15 minutes after game time of the session. Screenshots that have been created after these 15 minutes cannot be considered.

1.5.2 Non-appearance in case of Fastchallenger-Matches
If an opponent does not appear it has to be reported after a waiting time of 5 minutes. To report, make a screenshot of the match-lobby system. It is important to ensure that the screenshot includes the clock on the 4PL website, which is located in the upper right of the page. The screenshot can be created up to 10 minutes after game time of the session. Screenshots that have been created after these 10 minutes cannot be considered.

1.6 Results
Both teams / players are responsible for ensuring that the correct result is entered. In Cases of disagreements regarding the result, both parties have to keep screenshots and open a protest by Support Ticket.

In general the result has to be inscribed and approved at the lates 6 Hours after the Match ended. Both parties are responsible for ensuring that the correct result is entered:

  • in FIFA 12 e.G. 3:2 and not 1:0

1.7 Number of Participants
In the 4PL Fifa 12 - Leagues, - Ladders and – Tournaments, the following limitations are applied.

  • In a 1on1 have to compete both Players against each other.
  • In a 2on2 have to compete two players against two others.

Minimum Team-Members for certain Leagues/Ladders und Tournaments:

  • Fifa 12 1on1 -> 1 Player with registered PSN-ID
  • Fifa 12 2on2 -> at least 2 Players with registered PSN-ID

1.8 Transitional period for a lost verification-level
A participant who loses his verification-level, receives a time-frame of 14 days to correct this. After the deadline, he will be automatically kicked from all ladders, in which he no longer satisfies the verification requirement and loses his previously accumulated points.

1.9 Game Version
In every 4PL-Game, the current Version (patch/Update) of a game has to be played. Every participant is bound to use a legal copy. Players who use a pirate copy will be excluded from any game operation.

1.10 Time Zone
The Central European Time (CET) is relevant in the 4PL. This means wintertime is CET+0 and summertime CET+1. the Clock change will be announced per News.

2. Game Mode
All Leaguewars are played in 1on1.

A match is played in the „Best of One“-mode.

2.1 Host-Settings
Each player is self responsible for his internet connection and have to make sure there are no large ping variations or multiple disconnects. Admins are allowed to award default loses or disqualify players at offence.

The following settings are required in every match:

  • Matchtype: Ranglist
  • Max. Abbr. %: all
  • skill level: all
  • Private Session: Yes
  • Stadium: free to choose from the host
  • injuries: On
  • Offside: On
  • Cards: On
  • Game length: 2 x 6 minutes
  • Gamespeed: Normal
  • Controls: Any
  • Teamleve: Any
  • Ball: Standard white collar

Wrong match lists will be punished.

Both Participants have to check, if the correct Server Settings are adjusted.Wrong settings have to be corrected before the Match-Start. If a wrong setup is detected in a ongoing Match, it has to be fixed instant. If a fix is not possible or the Rcon-Keeper refuses a correction, the Match can be paused to start a protest. If the wrong setting has a essential influence on the Match, a complete restart has to be done, if demanded by a involved Player. If wrong Serversettings are detected after a match, a rematch is possible if wanted by both participants or if the wrong setting had a essential influence on the Match result.

Custom Formation / Corners
No custom formations are allowed, each player is obligated to use formations which are distributed from EA.
Custom corners are allowed, but its disallowed to power while blackscreen. The opponent have to proof offences by screenshots or video.

Extra Time
At League matches the result after 90 mintues is counting, no extra time will be played. At Tournament matches the Game continue with Golden Goal till an Opponent win the Game.

2.2 Disconnect (Gamer drop)
If a player disconnects during a match the reamaining time will be played in a new game. The result till the disconnets remain. After the disconnect both player have to meet again at the matchlobby or at IRC to finish the match. If a player can't contact his opponent, he have to open support ticket after a waiting time of 10 minutes and contact a admin.

The remaining time which have to be played after disconnect can be read from the table below.

The time which is played after this point will not be included in the end result.
Its recommended to all players to make screenshots after every goal which shows the result and the game name of the opponent.
If a player got a red card before a disconnect, he have to provoke the red card in the new game before the remaining the will be played.

2.3 Re-host (after Gamer drop)
In a re-hosted game each player has to choose the same team he had picked in the original game.

2.4 Screenshots
Both parties of the match are responsible to make and to upload a screen of the end result of each game where both players are visible with their EA ID.

The deadline for uploading screenshots is 24 hours in Laddermatches and 15 minutes in Tournaments after the match is played. Screenshots which are uploaded after deadline are counted as nonexistent.

Remark:
It is recommended to use a Handy oder Digicam to make the responsable screenshots.

2.5 Stalling / Time play
Excessive stalling is forbidden. Protests because of opponents stalling the game are only accepted with video proof. Its Admins decision if a player stalling for time.

Stalling the game results in a def-loss.

2.6 Forbidden Settings

2.7 Host / Connection
The hostright has the player who is placed lower in the rankings. The player must not take this right, so the other Player can also host the gema.

3. Matchmedia
All Matchmedias, such like Screenshots and Demo Files, have to be kept for 14 days as an Original until the end of the actual season and have to be shown to responsible Admins if they ask for it. Any Manipulation on this data is prohibited. The files have to be named clear and without ambiguity.

Both Participants are committed to upload their Matchmedia within 24 Hours after the end of the match.

In Tournaments both Participants are committed to upload their Matchmedia within 15 Minutes after the end of the match.

3.1 Kick of Opponents
If Opponents get intentional kicked from the Server in a ongoing Match, this will result in penalty points or a defloss for the opponent, who kicked the other.

4. Agreements
Agreements between the participants must be listed in the match or comments in the match lobby and have to be clearly confirmed by the opponent. To ensure the documentation, it is recommended to take a screenshot of the chat window, match lobby and the 4PL time. If no screenshot is taken, no support can be done by an 4PL - Admin.

Each participant should have in mind, that the rules of the 4PL are designed to give both parties, the same starting point and offer the same advantages and disadvantages. If a participant has the attitude, he was defrauded because of the agreement which he has made made before the encounter; there is no entitlement of an administrative regulation.

5. Protests/Prohibited Acts
All types of unfair Gameplay or impairing actions are forbidden. For this purpose the unfair advantage among obtaining (cheating) and also exploiting of Map exceptions or defects (bugs). If bugs are not listed here, a 4PL Admin hast to decide if the bug may have been crucial for the match, in that case penalty points will be given to the Bug User and the match will be deleted or must be repeated.

If problems arise during a match, the affected players have to quote it in the Match Comments and share it to the opponent. After the match they have to open a protest per Support Ticket. This protest has to be submitted within 72 hours (tournaments 15 minutes) after the match (except Demo protests see 3.1). After this period the protests are invalid.

The opponent parties can give their opinion to a 4PL admin for 24 hours (tournament 15 minutes), after the responsible admin calls on possible charges. In the case of no reaction, the right of rectification will void and the 4PL admin decides based on the available facts.

Per match, only one protest is allowed to be opened.

Map-related errors have to be checked before the match-start and the map has to be restarted if necessary. If load-related faults haven’t been checked before the match-start, a protest is invalid.

6. Match correction in case of cheat detection
If a participant is convicted by cheating, the scoring of all matches which the player or his team has won, will be revised at the time of Transfer. The 4 Players Liga reserves the right to delete even more matches. The Player will also get a unlimited League barrage.

7. Penalty Point System
If players meet in a league, ladder or tournament, it is essential that there are certain rules and consequences for violations of these Rules.

In our penalty point index, we list the major violations and also explain how many penalty points lead to which consequences. Received Penalty points expire after a certain time and will be completely deleted. In a single Match, a player or team can receive up to 6 penalty points. If a game is influenced heavily by the offense it can lead to a non-rating of the result.
