These are the rules for the Fifa 12 Pro League. We do every effort to ensure the rules are complete and up to date but this may not always be so. Participants should also check the Rules & Information and News for additions, exceptions and modifications that may apply. All players have to meet the requirements listed in the Rules & Information at the time the match is scheduled to begin. If ther are any questions about the rules, please use the 4PL support system.

1. General
The following rules apply to the 4PL Pro league (the 4PPL). The 4PL-Administration reserves the right to change/modify these Rules if required.

In individual cases and depending on given circumstances, the decisions by admins may differ from the rules.

1.1 Accounts
1.1.1 Personal Account
To play along in a 4PL League, the participant has to meet the following criteria:

For the 4PPL in FIFA 12:

  • a FIFA 12 Xbox Game Account refrenced in the Player Profile, this has to be the EA ID (charname)
  • at least verification Level 0
  • actual Picture of the participant at the Profile

1.1.2 Multi Account
Every participant is allowed to play and use only one 4PL Account. If a 4PL Account isn´t usable for any reason, the concerned player hast to contact the 4PL-Staff per eMail (support@4pl.de). It´s not allowed to create a new account. Multi Accounts or the declaration of false data will result in penalty points and a Account barrage when indicated.

If the participant likes to register a new Game Account, he is admitted to create a support ticket. A screenshot with the new Account is necessary. From this point on, former Accounts are not useable anymore. Old Accounts cannot be restored. A usage of old Accounts results in penalty points.

1.1.3 Game Account
Every participant is allowed to play and use only one game Account per Game in the 4PL. If the participant likes to register a new Game Account, he is admitted to create a support ticket. A screenshot with the new Account is necessary. From this point on former Accounts are not useable anymore. Old Accounts cannot be restored.

1.1.4 Game Version
In every 4PL-Game, the current Version (patch/Update) of a game has to be played. Every participant is bound to use a legal copy. Players who use a pirate copy will be excluded from any game operation.

1.3 Time Zone
The Central European Time (CET) is relevant in the 4PL. This means wintertime is CET+0 and summertime CET+1. the Clock change will be announced per News.

1.4 Transition period after the loss of a Verification Level
If a player loses his verification level, that is needed to participate in the game, he gets five days to solve the problem. After this period the players isnt´t allowed to play. If he also hasn´t informed the league adminsitration about his problems per Support. The player will receive one minor penalty point per day without the needed verification Level.

1.5 Communication
The official communication ways in the 4PPL are IRC, eMail, TS3, Forum and the Support System.

1.5.1 eMail
Participants have to use the eMail Account that is registered in their 4PL Profile. Every Participant is responsible for a active and valid eMail Account.

1.5.2 Internet Relay Chat (IRC)
Another way of communication is the Quakenet IRC-channel of the 4PPL. To allow a fast communication and assistance the contact persons are bound to stay in the internal channel which can be found in the 4PPL Board.

1.5.3 Teamspeak 3 (TS3)
On every official match day Live Support at the TS3 will be given. IP and other Details can be found at the 4PPL Board.

1.5.4 Forum
Every participating player has represent themself in the 4PPL Board.

In this board new or changed rules and important 4PPL informations will be announced. Facts and changes can be discussed before they get official. All informations in this board are for internal 4PPL use only.

1.5.5 privacy of correspondence
content in private messages, especially support Tickets and eMails from the league administration is strictly confidential. It´s prohibited to share this informations with a third partie or to publish them in any form.

1.6 Behavior and converation
All players have to behave in a humane way towards each other and of course to the league administration. The right way is to treat others as you would like to be treated. Insults and other missbehaviors can result in penalty points.

Beyond that, all participants are compelled to represent the eSport, the 4PPL and of course the sponsors in a worthy way. Offences against these Rules can result in penalty points, barrages and if the adminstration distinguishes a pivotal game interference in a Rematch.

1.6.1 Insults
All insults which are made at the 4PL Homepage (Board, Comments, Support etc.) will be avenged.

A slight insult will result in 1 Minor Penalty Point for the involved Player.
A serious insult will be punished with 3 Minor Penalty Points for the user.
Very heavy insults as for example racist taunts can result in a barrage or the exclusion from the 4Players Liga.

1.6.2 Spam
The continoues typing of senseless shares and harassments is defined as spam and will result in 1 up to 3 Minor Penalty Points for the involved Player.

1.6.3 Unsportsmanlike Behavior
To behave like a sportsman is one of the elemental principles in the 4Players Liga. Offences will result in 1 up to 6 Minor Penalty Points for the involved Player. If a Unsportsmanlike Behavior is given, will be checked individual in every single incident.

1.6.4 Fraud
Any attempt of frauding admins or players by using false or imaginary informations, declarations or Data, will result in 3 up to 6 Minor Penalty Points for the involved Player conditioned by the individual case.

1.6.5 Agreements
Additional agreements between the contestants in a match are possible as long as no 4PL Rule is touched.The 4PL adminsitration isn´t responsible for any problems that follow these agreements.

1.7 Support an Protest
Generally every match has to be played until it´s finished. After a completed league match, the player is allowed to generate a match protest up to 15 Minutes after the end of the match. After this period a protest no longer has any effect.

The protest has to include a exhaustive description of the incident. Possible pieces of evidence have to be sent unrequested to the adminsitration.

Supports an Protests can only be created by Users who are involved in the match.

Per match, one protest per Contestant is allowed.

1.8 Penalty Points
If a player disregards or violates one or more of the rules, various Penalty Points depending on the severity of the offence will be given. There are minor and major penalty points in the 4PPL.
Minor penalty points reduce the demand on prize money per 1 percent. Major penalty points will reduce it by 10 percent.

If a player has reached a total deduction of 30 Percent, the player will loose it´s demand on any prize money and will be excluded from the actual 4PPL season. Additionally the player will be barred for the following 4PPL season.

Penalty Points who are given in the 4PPL will only count at the actual 4PPL season. After the season all penalty points will decline. This excludes penalty points because of:

  • insults/Spam
  • cheating/fakeaccounts

If a contestant leaves the 4PPL because of Point 2.5, all not excluded penalty points, that where given in his encounters, will be erased.

Penalty Points and Barrages out of the normal 4PL operations (ladders, play now Matches etc.) count in addition at the 4PPL. That means, if a player gets a normal five Day barrage because of five penalty points in the ladder, he also will be barred in the 4PPL.

1.9 Minimum Age
There is no minimum Age in the 4PPL.

1.10 Transmissions and Rights
All rights for transmissions of 4PPL matches are reserved by the 4Players Liga and the 4Players GmbH.

If encounters are played on foreign servers, reservations have to be done for a possible 4PL Stream.

Coverage rights of a match or of several matches can be assigned by the 4PL to a third party or to the players themselves.

2. The course of a 4PPL Qualification
The 4PPL Qualification starts with the frist of five Tournaments at November, the 9th in 2011 and ends with the last Tournament at November, the 23th in 2011.

The Qualification includes maximum 5 Tournaments.

If some players are tied on a rank which is qualified for the Pro League, the direct comparison in encounters between these players will count. If they are also tied there, the most won rounds in the actual season will determine.

2.1 Match days
A Matchday starts at Monday 00:00 o´clock and ends up in the same week at Sunday 23.:59 o´clock.

The Tournament days are

  • November, the 9th in 2011
  • November, the 13th in 2011
  • November, the 16th in 2011
  • November, the 20th in 2011
  • November, the 23th in 2011

2.2 Disqualification and Exit out of a ongoing season
If a participant exits the 4PPL in a ongoing season (Playoffs an Playdowns included), he has to meet the following consequences:

  • all played and open matches will be counted as a loss
  • The player is barred for the actual and following 4PPL season
  • The player will join the Div. 2

A exit can be initiated by the player itself or by Disqualification.

2.3 Move Ups
If a participant of the 4PPL exits or calls his exit before the second match day has started, a following player will move up.

In the first season all move ups will be selected out of the qualification tournaments.

3. Match course in common
All matches have to be played and finshed on the regulate Matchdate.

3.1 Match-Start behind schedule
Basically, every Tournament Match has to start on schedule. To grant a smooth Match Course, the Participants have to be ready and complete in the game or the Match Lobby at least 10 Minutes before Match-Start.

If a participant belates, it will result in the following penalties:

  • from 15 minutes belated = will be treated as Non-appearance in 3.2

3.2 Non-appearance
If a participant doesn´t appear to the Match Start, the non-appearrance will result in a Defloss.

A Protest because of Non-appearance has to been made per Support Ticket and the Ticket should include the following evidence:

  • an Ingame screenshot that shows the non-appearance. The Screenshot should be make with a Handy- or Digital Camera

3.3 Result
In general the result has to be inscribed and approved at the lates 5 Minutes after the Match ended. Both parties are responsible for ensuring that the correct result is entered:

  • in FIFA 12 e.G. 3:2 and not 1:0

If there are uncertainties concerning the result, a protest has to be created.

In exceptional cases a default win or loss can be pronounced by the League Adminsitration.

3.4 Matchmedia
All Matchmedias, such like Screenshots and Demo Files, have to be kept as Original until the end of the actual season and have to be shown to responsible Admins if they ask for it. Any Manipulation on this data is prohibited. The files have to be named clear and without ambiguity.

Both Participants are committed to upload their Matchmedia within 20 Minutes after the end of the match.

If a manipulation at the Matchmedia is proven, the involved Player will receive a Defloss.

3.5 Kick of Opponents
If Opponents get intentional kicked from the Server in a ongoing Match, this will result in a Defloss. A complete or partial rematch can be pronounced by the League Adminsitration.

3.6 Modified / wrong Serversettings
Both Participants have to check, if the correct Server Settings are adjusted.Wrong settings have to be corrected before the Match-Start. If a wrong setup is detected in a ongoing Match, it has to be fixed instant. If a fix is not possible or the Rcon-Keeper refuses a correction, the Match can be paused to start a protest. If the wrong setting has a essential influence on the Match, a complete restart has to be done, if demanded by a involved Player. If wrong Serversettings are detected after a match, a rematch is possible if wanted by both participants or if the wrong setting had a essential influence on the Match result.

A intentional Manipulation of non essential Serversettings will result in a Defloss. If essential Serversettings get manipulated, a Defloss will be given.

3.7 Assignment of benched Players
If a benched Player is assigned in a League Match, the involved player will receive a Defloss.

3.8 Ringer / Faker
If a Player is assigned who is using or even is trying to use a wrong Identity, he will get a Defloss. The player in whos position the Faker/Ringer has played or tryed to play, will receive a 2-Day barrage in the 4PPL.

3.9 Cheating
Any Way of cheating is prohibited. The use of Third-Party Programs (cheats) or the manipulation of Game Files, that give unfair advantages to the Player, will result in 12 Penalty Points and a unlimited Barrage.

If cheating is proven in the ongoing season, the Player will be barred and be instant disqualified and excluded from the following 4PPL season.

3.10 Forbidden Actions
All actions to get unfair advantages are prohibited. This includes the use of Third-Party Programs (cheats) and the exploitation of known and unknown Game- or Map-Exploits. The League Administration will decide if a Exploit had a essential influence on the Match and if Penalty Points will be given or if the Match will be deleted and a rematch has to be played.

Game- and Map-Exploits because of an incorrect Loading Phase have to be corrected by restarting the game or map.

3.11 Result correction in case of Cheat-detections
If a Cheater is convictable, all Matches he took part and which wer won will be revised or deleted. The 4Players Liga reserves the right to delete other Matches which were played by the cheater.

4. Gamespecific Rules in FIFA 12
4.1 Game Mode
All Leaguewars are played in 1on1.

A match is played in the „Best of One“-mode. The winner is the player, which has won 1 Match.

4.2 Host-Settings
Each player is self responsible for his internet connection and have to make sure there are no large ping variations or multiple disconnects. Admins are allowed to award default loses or disqualify players at offence.

The following settings are required in every match:

  • Matchtype: Ranked Match
  • Game length: 2 x 6 minutes
  • Gamespeed: Normal
  • Controls: Any
  • Teamleve: Any
  • Ball: white colored

Wrong match lists will be punished with 2 penalty points for the host.

Custom Formation / Corners
No custom formations are allowed, each player is obligated to use formations which are distributed from EA.
Custom corners are allowed, but its disallowed to power while blackscreen. Each offence will be punished with a Defloss, resulting goals will not be counted. The opponent have to proof offences by screenshots or video.

Extra Time
At ProLeague Qualification matches with a draw after 90 mintues the opponents must play extra time with Golden Goal and same settings as the hole game.

4.3 Disconnect (Gamer drop)
If a player disconnects during a match the reamaining time will be played in a new game. The result till the disconnets remain. After the disconnect both player have to meet again at the matchlobby or at IRC to finish the match. If a player can't contact his opponent, he have to open support ticket after a waiting time of 10 minutes and contact a admin.

The remaining time which have to be played after disconnect can be read from the table below.

71-75 min ----> 20 min
76-80 min ----> 15 min
81-85 min ----> 10 min
86-90 min ----> 7min

The time which is played after this point will not be included in the end result.
Its recommended to all players to make screenshots after every goal which shows the result and the game name of the opponent.
If a player got a red card before a disconnect, he have to provoke the red card in the new game before the remaining the will be played.

4.4 Re-host (after Gamer drop)
In a re-hosted game each player has to choose the same team he had picked in the original game.

4.5 Streaming
Each participant is allowed to stream his match. An agreement of the opponent is not required but expedient..

4.6 Casting and observing Games
Only casting Partners of the 4Players League are allowed to cast 4PL League Games.

4.7 Screenshots
Both parties of the match are responsible to make and to upload a screen of the end result of each game where both players are visible with their EA ID.

The deadline for uploading screenshots is 20 minutes after the match is played. Screenshots which are uploaded after deadline are counted as nonexistent.

Missing screenshots will be punsihed in a Defloss.


Remark:
It is recommended to use a Handy oder Digicam to make the responsable screenshots.

4.8 Stalling / Time play
Excessive stalling is forbidden. Protests because of opponents stalling the game are only accepted with video proof. Its Admins decision if a player stalling for time.

Stalling the game results in a def-loss.

4.9 Forbidden Teams
Playing with th following Teams is forbidden.

  • Classics XI
  • World Classic

Playing with these Teams results in a def-loss.
