The Rules of 4Players League are always kept up to date and complete. Please inform yourself as well in the corresponding „Info & Details“ and News of the respective Leagues, Ladders and Tournaments, to be informed about possible short-termed changes and exceptions. If you have any questions regarding the rules, you can always ask our support for help.
In exceptional cases the Administrators are authorized to make decisions which are not according to the following Rules. These exceptions are needed to abide the sportsmanship and to guarantee fair play for all participants.
Each Participant is urged to use the latest version of the Game, if not announced otherwise in the Rules. The latest version always can be found at the official homepage.
Incorrect or incomplete entries can cause a exclusion from the tournament, ladder or league.
If a verification level is set, only participants with the appropriate verification level are eligible to play.
A player is only allowed to participate in one team.
The nationality does not matter, but a participant must have an (EU West) League of Legends account.
It is prohibited to own or use more than one 4Players Liga – Account. If the league Account isn´t accessible or not usable for any reason, it must be written an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org. Multiple accounts and the intentional indication of false account information will result in penalty points and possibly in a limited or unlimited account barrage.
Each participant is allowed to use only one game account for each game in the 4Players Liga. If the player intends to register a new game account for any reason, he has to open a support ticket in the area of the affected game. According to this ticket, the game account will be changed or registered by a responsible admin.
After this change, the previously registered account in this game is barred for any further use in the 4PL. If a player participates with an illegal game account, the action will be sanctioned with penalty points. Changed accounts cannot be restored.
For tournaments at the 4Players league, there is furthermore the regulation, that all Participants need a valid relevant game account for the tournament. This game account hast to be inscribed, before the tournaments starts. If a game Account is changed or new inscribed at a ongoing tournament, the players is benched. A assignment of benched players leads to a immediate disqualification.
It is not allowed to use legally prohibited or protected names, logos or emblems. Additionally we will protect names of large und well-known scene clans and rename relevant accounts, if the account is not in the acquired property of the known clan or organisation.
If evidences show a new team-account is registered by a barred Team and is used to participate in the same League, the new team will get all penalty points and Barrages plus a additional penalty on the new Accoount.
In Leagues, Ladders and Tournaments with specific verification requirements only participants of a team with appropriate verification status are allowed to play.
The team name can be changed at any time, expect running tournaments. Deceiving or bullying other players, clans, teams and administrators with offensive names is strictly prohibited and will result in penalty points, barrages and an exclusion from the tournament, ladder or league
1.2.1 Exchange of a player
The participant is only eligible to play when he joins the team before a match. But it is possible to make an agreement with the opponent team. See section "arrangements" of the 4PL Rules.
It's forbidden to change a player after the start share of the bans and picks. It's also forbidden that a player join a team after Start of the Tournament and play Games.
1.3 Non-appearance of the Opponent
1.3.1 in case of manual Challenges and in Tournaments
If an opponent does not appear to a fixed date it has to be reported after a waiting time of 15 minutes. To report, make a screenshot of the match-lobby system. It is important to ensure that the screenshot includes the clock on the 4PL website, which is located in the upper right of the page. If the session has been started, both opponents got 15 minutes to join the server. The match can be reported if one the opponents are not ready after 15 minutes.
Both teams are responsible for ensuring that the correct result is entered. In Cases of disagreements regarding the result, both parties have to keep screenshots and open a protest by Support Ticket.
* If a 5on5 team hasn´t got enough Players, It may also compete in the minority. The full team is free to to miss out one player and even up its lineup. The match may be postponed, if both teams agree.
2. Storage of Match Media Files
All game-related files, such as e.g. screenshots and demos must be kept for 14 days as an original and have to be provided on a request of an admin. Screenshots have to be uploaded to the 4PL Page without demand. Any manipulation of the files is forbidden. The designation of game-related files must be unique.
In order to guarantee the correctness of the match, both players are required to upload a screenshot of the final Result, as well as special events (e.g. timeout, Champion-bans). Both participants are responsible to ensure complete presented Screenshots and replays in the match area.
In tournaments, all required screenshots have to be uploaded within 10 minutes in the match details.
If no or incomplete screenshots are uploaded within the prescribed period, the participants will receive penalty points.
3. Protests/Prohibited Acts
All types of unfair Gameplay or impairing actions are forbidden. For this purpose the unfair advantage among obtaining (cheating) and also exploiting of Map exceptions or defects (bugs). If bugs are not listed here, a 4PL Admin hast to decide if the bug may have been crucial for the match, in that case penalty points will be given to the Bug User and the match will be deleted or must be repeated.
If problems arise during a match, the affected players have to quote it in the Match Comments and share it to the opponent. After the match they have to open a protest per Support Ticket. This protest has to be submitted within 72 hours (tournaments 15 minutes) after the match. After this period the protests are invalid.
The opponent parties can give their opinion to a 4PL admin for 24 hours (tournament 15 minutes), after the responsible admin calls on possible charges. In the case of no reaction, the right of rectification will void and the 4PL admin decides based on the available facts.
Per match, only one protest is allowed to be opened.
Map-related errors have to be checked before the match-start and the map has to be restarted if necessary. If load-related faults haven’t been checked before the match-start, a protest is invalid.
4. Match correction in case of cheat detection
If a participant is convicted by cheating, the scoring of all matches which the player or his team has won, will be revised at the time of Transfer. The 4 Players Liga reserves the right to delete even more matches. The Player will also get a unlimited League barrage.
Games are only allowed on the European West LoL servers. The winner is the team, which has bring the points of the opponent team down and destroyed the Nexus or the opponent team throws the towel.
5.3 Game accounts
Each player must play with the specific game account (Summoner name) that is registered in his 4PL Profile. Only the last registered summoner name is valid.This summoner name has to be inscribed before the tournament starts.
Each team is able to capture 3 Champions. That means that neither the voting team nor the opposing team is allowed to play this champion in the match. This has to be documented with a screenshot and hast to be written in the practice Match comments. The order provides that: 1-1-1-1-1-1, where the team which standing on the left side of the 4Players League starts
The Championship selection is open. That means each participants must disclose which champion is chosen, in the practice Match comments. An already selected Champion can not be selected a second time.
The order provides that : 1-2-2-2-2-1, begins with the left team.
Each participant is responsible to be prepared for his match at the defined Match-Time. A early Login is even also important to avoid possible problems with the servers in the LoL-occuring waiting queue. If a participant is stuck in the queue and can not arrive on time, the team may also compete in the minority. The full team is free to miss out one player and even up its lineup.
5.10 Server not available
If the Riotserver should not be attainable, match mayl be postponed. The time amounts to a maximum of 5 days. During a ongoing tournament the Cup will be closed ahead and continued on another day.
5.11 Stream / Livebroadcast
Each Participant is allowed to stream his Match. An agreement of the other partie is not required but expedient.
The Spectatormode can be used, if both teams agree. 4PL Admins dont need that agreement.
